whispered reminders (to myself)

remember, you do not have to know everything in each moment.
you can be still.
you do not have to run ahead.
you can breathe deeply and just stay right where you are.
you choose where to let your mind reside.
you can ask for help.
you can close your eyes until you see only quiet.
it is okay to pause.
you know what to do.
yes.
you do.
give yourself permission to listen.
give yourself permission to know.

Ah, this can be so incredibly challenging when you've been sitting a while with uncertainty.

Your blog is beautiful. I just discovered this site, and the poem "whispered reminders (to myself)" was exactly what I needed to read in this moment. It is no coincidence I found you. Hope you'll visit my little site too lineupyourducks.com. I think our philosophies are similar. Best to you!

I hope you don't mind but I was so inspired by this that I quoted it on my blog. I also credited you. It so fits the place I am in right now so what you wrote was the starting point for my reflection. You always inspire me.

These words and your comment kindness steer me onward, sketching & showing. Pausing & breathing. Participating & growing. Thank YOU, my squam parking lot friend for your quietly inspirational & kindly mothering ways. :o)
