dispatch from the studio annex
click the photo to head to flickr and read a whole lot of notes about what you see here
sunday evening dispatch:
listening to the weepies station on pandora
watching ellie jane grow more each day
putting big (BIG!) dreams out into the universe
deciding to just let it go (and choose laughter)
pretending i know what i am doing
believing it will all unfold as it should
seeking elves or other magical creatures to help in the studio
counting down the days until pen & paper
sincerely working on the midwest inner excavation retreat (hope to post info tomorrow)
owning the this truth: there are only so many hours in the day
feeling grateful for new friendships
loving my new iphone and the quick, easy, fantastic camera option it gives me
giving myself the space to feel the joy and the fear and the bravery and the love
how are things in your corner of the world?

I LOVE Instagram. So much fun to play with.
Laughter is my word for this year and I am working on letting it spill through, little by little.
Enjoyed reading your list, a few on it are on mine too...
At this exact moment I am...
working on a few pieces {10} for two new galleries
getting some new pendants finished
taking a break every few minutes to fan myself... still very warm here in New Zealand
hoping the pain in my tummy will go away
sorting things at work for when the students start next week
and thinking about what to make for tea...
Love the pics! Which photo app did you use on this photo and the one before? My iPhone is arrving on Tuesday and I am SO excited to use some of these photo apps I keep seeing! I love the details in your flickr notes. Fun, fun.
anyway, I love your list. Some of my little happinesses are:
- A "warm" day today. Hearing the birds singing in the trees. I could almost feel Spring.
- Looking in my review mirror and seeing my two year old Audrey, eyes closed, swaying to the music. Precious girl.
- Seeing my own beauty. Feeling like a pretty girl.
- Doodling
- Candles giving warmth and homey-ness to my house.
- Breathing deeply
- Taking pictures of my kids
- Hope notes
- Knowing deep in my bones that it's all going to be okay.
Here's to a great week!

--Valentine fun to make today for my three fellows (one big, two little :-)
-- talking over a big maybe dream with my husband
-- sunshine!
-- a friend who has been especially devoted lately
-- toast from homemade bread for breakfast

-- and the time to enjoy all the simple good things, the breath to slow down and really see and feel them, the peace of home
getting to giggle and work on the creative fires yesterday was perfect.

Isn't it wonderful that something like Sharpies can make us so happy?!
Look forward to hearing more info about the midwest retreat. I'm definitely interested and my sister is as well.
