Well, since you ask .... I spent yesterday at a zoo in the sunshine, watching my best friend being 'keeper-for-a-day' with the 'cats'( -!!). I watched her feeding a HUGE Siberian tiger with meat with her FINGERS. My heart almost stopped a few times! She was happier than she's been for years. It was wonderful.
Today (this is the UK - it's already started here hours ago) I am going to tackle my garden :)
Very very best wishes to you and yours
Corinne

Here in Tassie, it has been raining all day...the perfect excuse to scrap all day, with the fire going and my music playing. All is well in my world...thanks for asking. Hope all is well in your part of the world.

.....in a nutshell, better than last week, but not as good as next week! last week was tough...i had already over-obligated myself, then my dad ended up in the hospital unexpectedly which turned everything else topsy-turvy. he's fine, but yesterday i made a tough decision to step back from something i thought i had always wanted to do......so this week, i am looking forward with anticipation to see what other doors will open. it is a good thing to begin a week with anticipation instead of dread. :)

Well it was one of those good news/bad news kind of weeks. THe bad news was health related and it's getting to be just a bit much to take at this point. *sigh* The good news was the opportunity to do something really great. I'm just waiting on more details, which I will hopefully get this week.

I keep on keepin' on. You know how it goes.

Let's see. I spent all day yesterday and got the kitchen mostly clean (minus sweep and mop), laundry nearly finished, 3 bathrooms cleaned and the whole top floor vacuumed. It's nice to have it clean again. Today I'm off to teach my classes and then home to vacuum and mop downstairs. Whew! In non-domestic diva news, whilst cleaning I had about a thousand awesome ideas pop into my head for my projects so that was exciting! I am looking forward to my weekly conference call tomorrow night to get things rolling! My boys are back with me today after a week with their dad. I miss them. It's always nice to have them home. How are you?

I'm all over the place. I'm excited for some changes coming on my blog this week. Nervous about those changes too. I'm feeling the pull of emotions lately, happy, to sad, to happy. How are you?

I'm... stoked. Usually, winter's last hurrah leaves me feeling vacant, vaguely hostile and tired. This year, I decided to bring The Happy back for good. I spent the weekend ice climbing on frozen waterfalls, pushing the boundaries of gravity and physics in vertical space and generally soaking up the returning sun.

It feels good. It feels right. And for once, so do I.

Thank you for asking, for inquiring.

I am remembering to use all the tools available to me while Mercury in Retrograde is having it's way with me; creating art with paint, collage with my wishBIG postcards, journaling my senses (thanks for that new tool!), listening to drum music and moving with rose incense waving around the room to release stuck energy with grace and gratitude...thanks for asking.

Liz...
I want to tell you I love your new blog!
Its great here!
I also adore your book. Really its just great
and I am going to start it with my 10 year
old daughter. How fun will this be!
Your retreats, by the sea, sound divine.
I love your photo of polka dot boots in the water!
Really, really love it.
How am I?
How are you?
Me...busy being creative and attempting to
organize all my art stuff...books, pictures,
poems, photos, paintings, supplies and
books...all my books...which seem to be
taking over...but in a nice sort of way.
Recently I got some new applications and
have been having a lot of fun editing my
photos and paintings...a real lot of fun.
I am looking forward to working with
my daughter each chapter in your book.
Going inward is a wonderful experience
for a tween to do...and how wonderful
we shall have you...as our guide!
Sweet Dreams my far away friend!

well since you asked I will tell you my lovely friend ~ I'm drowning but also doing the back stroke. I am knee deep in sludge but also hanging out in the clouds. It all depends on the moment in which it is but I'm taking it in and trying to enjoy it all or at least acknowledge it all. my first show of photography was hung on Sunday night with my wonderful husband and 2 beautiful supporting friends. It was surreal and exhausting but again, so exciting to see MY work on a wall other than my own and owning the fact that they are beautiful.
I sit here in this teahouse studio with twinkle lights glowing in the dark and art supplies galore and I can't believe this is a part of me and mine. my life is good but also it's life and it's full of rocky curvy roads that I accept.

love you friend
