breathing in the fresh air of home . july 18, 2010

thank you for surrounding us with light and love.
yes.
my heart knows we are so blessed, and i am so grateful for the way so many have kept us in their thoughts...
i am on the cusp of that feeling where just one person's gentle touch or kind word or invitation to be seen might send me into a puddle...and so i try to sleep to give my mind and heart a rest...
our "new normal" continues, but we are home.
we are home.
more soon...
blessings,
liz

I just saw your photos on Flickr and was concerned to see that your family was at the Childrens Hospital. I am glad to see that you are at home with your darling baby (!).
Sending well wishes and healing her way..and for peace of mind for you, dad and family :)

the heart strings are always pulled a little tighter when your child is ill. ...because they don't know what is happening...the hospital is loud and bright and people are in and out. it is a helpless feeling for both of you. so glad to hear that she is okay. and that you are okay...even tho your soft underbelly has been exposed...this is parenthood i suppose... this too shall pass, in the journey you are on. may your blessings continue to flow.

Ellie is beautiful! I know you've had quite a scare, but I hope you're back in the cuddle and hugs place again. I can't wait until everything settles down so I can meet her.

Such a face could move mountains. One senses about her that she is so brand new, and yet such an old soul. May you find peace in this day. My three daughters are grown now with children of their own, and my heart will always be tied to theirs. Terrifyingly wonderful.

Blessings

Amen.
I'm still praying for you though, even though you are home - because who doesn't need prayer?

Liz, I just saw on facebook that Ellie has been unwell; my heart seized up. I am so so glad to see things are well. Your little elf is so perfectly precious I want to kiss her on the computer screen. Kisses to you three. I hope you are resting and happy.
