five (really) good things. on a friday evening.
one :: creating my very first video+music+photographs+poetry {i}movie. i anticipate many more in my future. (though, i sure do hope i can figure out how to load them to youtube a bit faster...is this just how it works? takes hours?)
two :: week two of our new organic fruit+veggies local delivery. the strawberries look perfect and will be eaten in the morning. and it has been cool here, so imagine soup might be to come as well. oh and kale chips. yep. gonna try those.
three :: a little bookish necklace (link to come) that arrived today that had me smiling and dancing around the kitchen as i opened the package that contained this gift. (it is a sign of good things to come i think.)
four :: soul aperture . christina's blog is beautiful. loving the ways she looks at the world and reminds herself and her readers to pause for the little things. (start here, then here, and oh this one too)
five :: feeling very excited that registration for the february 2010 be present retreat begins monday (june 22). more information about the workshops will be up then too (though if you check sunday, you might get a sneak peek as i am loading it).
what are five really good things in your world?
please share.
dare you.

Yep, those would be 5 slices of awesome right there! Here's mine:
~ a new journal where I've been jotting down my research/links ~ i've decided to sell my prints online.
~ aqua blue skies and white puffy clouds, Friday afternoon. it's been a long time since my side of the country has seen the sun.
~ stretching the days between grocery shopping trips sometimes means... pancakes for dinner! but it's so much more fun when my girl mixes the batter and cooks them with me.
~ catching up on movies. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a new fave.
~ you, sweet one, for sharing such lovliness here. i especially loved your interview with Vivienne.. she is also now one of my new faves.
(a note on uploading to YouTube - if your video exceeds 10 minutes - it will take hours to process before you get a deny for being too long. Happened to me. I don't know of any other free video service yet.)
Marcy uses iMovie and YouTube together and when it takes a long time, she does not get a deny. It simply is a "busy" loading day. Like the line into YouTube is extra long.
MOST days, though, it's FAST.
Have fun! :)
These are wonderful, and so is that photo. Here are five really good things going on right now...
~ freshly pedicured pink toenails
~ pale pink peonies on my table this week
~ sunny skies, wildflowers in the empty lot beside us, cardinals hanging around our yard (can these count as just one? :)
~ an amazing circle of friends and family for which I am grateful, hubs-to-be and Cassie, our dog
~ my hairdresser-friend and her ability to make gorgeous finger waves for my wedding do!

5 little gems in my world:
a small yellow flower brought to me proudly by a small dirty boy and presented with a big hug.
a tiny tiny bit of sunshine today and the much needed shot of Vitamin D it brought with it.
a really fun night in NYC on Friday with a beautiful friend.
a trip to Italy in August that has me counting the minutes until then.
Father's Day and the father who made this world of mine possible.
Oh, I LOVE your list!
My how your 'voice' has changed over the past couple of weeks. You must be feeling better and finding a healthy balance there in your own wonderland. It shows!
