seven

today 2

the april bag...story to come

lucky to have a husband who takes care of me, of us

blessed to have friends who give me space to be me

happy (really really happy) to be playing (to be finally playing) with fabric and thread and putting that pedal to the floor

content to hear the dripping on the roof and the wind rustling the trees

owning that i choose how to respond in each moment (even if i want to pretend that isn't the truth sometimes)

grounded while listening to jakob dylan

open to what is to come

(what is going on in your world?)

my sacred life

that bag is breathtaking! i can't wait for the story!

i'm
~rediscovering connection (bursting the solo bubble)
~exploring myself as an artist (who knew that would mean using a skateboard for a canvas)
~dreaming big
~accepting and listening to the love that is around me

okay, thats not seven...but a good start!
thanks for asking liz!

i love this bag, such pretty colors and i'm glad to hear your playing again.

7" of snow dumped on our world last night, no school and no work today.

i'm trying to embrace it, trying to say, yay, our last snow (please let that be true) but i'm cold and not embracing it at all.

instead i plan to process seven photos today and take seven more.

and count seven times, the friends that i love, including you. xo

beautiful bag, beautiful insights - beautiful post, beautiful you.
in my world: snow is falling & i have a snow day! i woke early - yearning to return to sleep - this was not to be. i practiced yoga. i danced around my nest. i said my prayers. i am checking e-mail & checking in with bloggie beauties (you!). the day is unfolding - softly - like the weight of snowflakes...
beautiful day to you,
gem

I love how the colors flow - I truly love that bag! I'm so glad that you are back to doing what you love (and ps.. I heart Jakob Dylan too!)

I've just opened my eyes to a blanket of white outside...having the first sips of my coffee. Not happy about it, but yet..the snow has a way of making the world look so clean and peaceful.

Happy creating to you!! xo

wonderful freshness to that bag! keep it up....
i'm flowing in an amazing current of new creativity, something much needed after a very sad and broken winter...sensing the strength of myself, finally...open to the coming of spring...letting go of times long gone, anticipating times anew. xo

Such a cool bag!
You were in my dream the other day. Seriously. Then the next day I got an email from you about Be Present. How strange is that??

LOVE LOVE LOVE the bag and can't wait to own another creation from your own two hands. Glad to hear you have the pedal to the metal again!

Snow yesterday so I took it slow and enjoyed being in pajamas until after lunch, dreamed a bit in the new soon-to-be-painted studio, went sledding with the boys and even tried to stay up on the snowboard and best of all didn't care what I looked like, spent quality time with a new and wonderful friend, and this is HUGE: wrote poetry (seriously, first time in YEARS I've written a poem. It felt so right!) Good day! No, great day!

FABULOUS bag, Liz!

I've been a little out of sorts, waiting to see if my camera's flash could be fixed at a reasonable price. The answer is no, so I'm gonna take the plunge and get a D-SLR! Excited to delve into photography further. And, I'm making plushies -- nothing more fun than that!

*gasp ~ that bag is fabulous!! :-)

my world is filled with cold and snow and hunkering down and at least 7 full days of processing wedding photos from the weekend and schedules to visit at least 7 high school open houses and coming to terms with the fact that i will soon be the mother of a boy who goes to highschool. how does that happen? ;-) my world is also filled with possibility and bits of magic and love and tender hugs and understanding and gifts of friendship. xo
