*****

on this solstice, take a listen to sarah mclachlan's version of wintersong.
my heart is full of the dark and the light when i listen to this song.
i visit the dark...
tonight, i choose the light.

thank you for being out there...reading my words and looking at my images...and sharing pieces of you right back to me...or just silently reading and looking...thanks for getting it.

blessings,
me

oh! how i love seeing your beautiful face...just got this image of your grandma doing exactly what you are doing....with you snuggled down at her feet...looking up at her...and she smiling down at you...feeling so happy and proud of her brave and beautiful granddaughter...xx

Looks like you had a very calm and blessed solstice, hopefully you are feeling better too.

I am just now learning to knit. I'm not near as calm as you doing it. I feel like a kitten with the yarn, not sure what it is but knowing I am going to get myself into trouble... ;-)

dear liz - sorry i've been so out of touch ... mostly the work thing. i'm sad to hear you've been so under the weather. poor girl. flannel, a fire and a warm fire sound like good ingredients to heal and keep the chill out. can you believe the snow we've gotten??

we look forward to seeing you and jon after you're feeling better. sending love & merriest christmas wishes to you both. xx, deb
