solutions to the grumps

the post-vacation sleepy grumps got the best of me today...
jon reminded me that when i can't get out of a funk there is one fool-proof solution:
kittenwar!

he was right.

and i reminded myself that there is another solution that always works:
a little etsy therapy

and i was right too.

today's purchases, from this lovely goddess's shop, encouraged me to think about a few of the items i've packed and brought with me into 2008...i will share more when these thoughts are a bit more arranged in a less sleepy head.

i'm anticipating all that is to come with this year...

Wow. Suddenly my statcounter
went through the roof and I
was bewildered and then
saw they ALL came from your
blog here!!!

thank you so much for linking to
me ~ choosing prints from my
shop made me feel so honored
and i love the ones you chose
in particular.

one of my five things was
going to a flea market on Sunday,
another walking the kids and dog
in the (unexpected) snowfall
in the redwood groves ~

painting my toenails bubble gum
pink (don't know WHAT got in to
me but it was fun)

watching an old(er) film
with the kids last night
called "city of angels"
which brought up all sorts of
amazing conversation on love and
life and choices and what is
important

was that five? i can't count

love you sweetie ~

thanks for the boost to my
spirit:)
