Oh I LOVE the last one of the water. Can you believe this is the first Sunday in TWO MONTHS that we have had without rain???? And I didn't even leave my house. Shame, shame on me.

breathtaking!

these pictures were taken at point defiance park here in tacoma. it is known as one of our northwest rainforests...hence the flowers blooming in january...
we live just a few miles away and don't have anything in bloom...something about how it is so close to the water i guess...
it was such a joy to spend time there yesterday...food for my soul.

Just LOVE these photos! Ah, the Puget Sound. And those enormous pines.

We just looked through our photo album from our September vacation last night. We recalled that we remarked many, many times about how big those pines trees are.
