1.) The herbal hair dye that I used this weekend actually made my hair really shiny.
2.) I received my BEAUTIFUL scarf from a certain incredibly talented friend today and LOVE it.
3.) I had a lovely phone conversation with that same beautiful friend just yesterday.
4.) The sweet kiss that C gave me before he went off to bed tonight.
5.) The happiness in Ayden's eyes when I went to pick him up at my parent's tonight (and the warm soup my Mom gave us for dinner)

i didn't do five today exactly, but i did do a post about what i am grateful for today instead of posting just a photo for december views.
using a photograph to show your five (really) good things is a marvellous idea and i am inspired by your creativity. if you ran a creativity workshop, i'd be the first person to sign up!

today it a good day...5 really good things before 8am ;-)
*this beautiful photo of you and that yummy scarf.
*wonderful friends from out of town came in to finish up christmas shopping and got snowed in...right now they're sleeping in maya's room and i'm planning a pancake breakfast when they wake up...otherwise we wouldn't have seen them until the new year.
*my husband is leaving work early today so that i can have a few hours on my own to re-group.
* i am going to have a cranio-sacral therapy appointment with my wonderful therapist at 5pm.
*i'm typing this all snug as bug from the comforts of my cozy bed ;-)

the sky, there are layers of clouds a light in front of the mountains today
trees - the evergreens and the trees with a few deep red curled leaves clinging to them
my new ipod player (birthday gift) so i no longer have to have those little buds in my ears
the baby jesus my mom sent to me for my birthday (i'll be posting photos on my blog soon)

long black daisy dress over khakis and i feel like i'm wearing pajamas; tea with a friend tonight; layers of sunlight and cold ice crystals creating beauty; yummy december organic cherries that cost a fortune but i don't even care; letting myself feel sad and knowing that it is okay ...

1. my new job (with a 1-hour free massage as a present from my new boss!)
