tea and flannel {self-portrait challenge}

After I turn on my laptop and feed the dog, I fill the teapot with water, choose my cup of the day, choose my tea (probably genmaicha), and take a moment to just look out the window until the water boils. Already in my office clothes, I brew the tea and settle in for the day.

Sounds and looks nice! I'm also big fan of everykind of teas. I think making a cup of tea isn't same thing than having some coffee. It's a ritual.

Oh, I'm jealous! Our trip out there gave of just a taste of the crisp, fall weather. And now we've returned to 80's - hot - muggy - humid. Where is our fall?

I'm ready for tea and hot cocoa and long sleeves and scarves and socks and blankets. It's weird to see mums and pumpkins and still have it be this warm.

Please enjoy the lovely cool air and warm drinks for us.
