Just seeing his name reminds me of Point Reyes, CA, the bucolic scenes of grassy hills rolling to the sea. Muir Woods nearby; a pastoral life which seems to move slowly among the trees and brush where elk and sheep and cattle live with deer; all just a short drive from the pulse of San Francisco.
Nice.
What a fantastic quote and picture! I very much agree. It's inside that I feel so out of place. Out in the wild tangles of nature, that's home, that's "in."
I love this quote.
Love John Muir and I love the pic. :)
Spending time in nature is a great teacher about our own internal landscapes. Beautiful quote and picture.
