postcard from indiana (7.26.08)
{front}
humidty-soaked towering oak trees awash in early-morning soft, blurry light serving as a perch for chirping cardinals and one insistent blue jay.
{back}
i feel the space around my heart grow
inhale
exhale
let go of
the need to know
hold on
to quiet truth

i so much love getting postcards from you, sweet liz. i hope you are enjoying yourself, in the heart of this country. i'm off to wisconsin myself next week - will think of you. xoxo
your postcards are wonderful...maybe I can tuck this one in my pocket and carry it around for the day and look really really hard for a red bird in my trees. (We westerners aren't blessed by the presence of vivid cardinals. sniff sniff.) :)

I am inhaling, exhaling, holding to the quiet truth. Thank you, Liz.
Hey Liz,
Sorry I didn't get a reply email off. San Fran was great; will have to fill you in upon your return. Would love to have you guys over for dinner when you get back.
Hope time with family is good. Say hi to Jon.
