just like that.

(we expected to be at the hospital for at least a week.)

thank you for surrounding us with light, love, support, notes, and prayers. we are so very grateful. this experience has me believing that love always wins, no matter what happens. yes. yes. yes.

Ellie is such an amazing , miraculous, mixture of two wonderful and wonderous people that I am not surprised that she conquered this mountain in record speed. I understand the journey has been a frightful roller coaster ride but it is now time to get off and move on to another part of the park...perhaps the Merry-Go-Round? :') Thinking of you often in Indiana!

Liz, I came by here to talk about your book, which I just received, but then I see you are dealing with things so much more than that. I am so glad to hear that your precious child came though her surgery well. I hope that she is good and comfortable today and that you have the rest and support you need. Keep strong. Will check back in to give you book kudos!
