Ellie and I hang out while everyone else works hard

A few notes from here:

An update: Ellie is doing great off her medicine so far! This means she has been in sinus rhythm and is showing no signs of being in distress off the medication. We are waiting the results of her 24-hour heart monitoring (which happened earlier this week), and if all goes well, she will be off of it. For good! Being able to let her sleep for the first time since she was just a few weeks old is a whole new world to all of us. We don't have to wake her up to give her a dose anymore. (Whole. New. World.)

Studio excitement: My new studio is under construction! A few of the men in my life + my mom are making amazing things happen over here. I am so lucky. On Monday I will share some photos of how far things are. It is kind of unbelievable (as in they are even building the ceiling in a way that the garage door can still go up and down. I just keep shaking my head in wonder.) If you are following me on Instagram or over at Flickr, you've been getting a few glimpses of the goodness.

How are things over there? I'm thinking about you (yes you) and wondering...

Blessings,
Liz

THRILLED that EJ is doing so well. So glad you are feeling so positive about it! YAY!

Here: (Whistler) Exhausted from a long day in 32C temps, but a good type of exhausted. Husband & Indy are having fun and I am IN AWE of the mountains. I may have been born on the prairies, but the mountains call to my soul. It's no wonder I've read EVERYTHING on mountaineering! I am trying to drink them in, as much as possible. Class tomorrow with Viv-still haven't managed to catch up with her.

Also annoyed with myself that I forgot my temp tats envie at home. I had planned to put some on for my selfies. Darn!

In the middle of the excavatelong I was having so much fun taking pictures of ME, no judgement, then.....the drunk driver interrupted my life, I am so grateful that I took these photos because if I had not made it, they would have been the last pics of me happy, I am ok and grateful to live and I mean live, getting out my jewelry and wearing it, trying new things, eating with the china, wearing the "nice" clothes, living it is such a complicated word, Thanks for asking!!!

I am so happy for Elle. I hope and pray that her recovery continues to get better and better!!
Congrats on the new studio. I have been trying to convert a small bedroom into a studio. I need the extra bed when my son visits from CA. Unfortunately the bed and my drawing table will not fit in the space!!!! My solution may be to purchase a large chair that converts to a single bed....depends on how big the chair is.....if I could only make the room wider!!!
Have a great day!

That's such wonderful news, Liz!! I'll say a prayer that all is well with Ellie's test. : ) Waking up every night for a dose of medicine must be so difficult on all of you but I guess it's paying off. God bless and I look forward to seeing the progress with your studio. I need inspiration to get mine in better condition!! xo
