getting into the picture
Yes, my hair is dirty.
Yes, I'm still in my pajamas and not wearing a bra.
Yes, this isn't my best angle.
Yes, we're not really in focus.
Yes, I look older than I think I am.
Yes.
But when she looks at this picture 30 years from now, all she's going to see is the love.
It's what I'm choosing to see too.
This is the year I will get myself back into photos with my big camera. Yes.
(Gosh, I love this kid.)

Her eyes are alive with your love! I am even thinking about videoing myself in my pjs so that those sharing the Studio 365 experience can see the real me, and perhaps they will be bold enough to be real too.
She will also see how much she looks like you, and that your heart is as wide open as yours.
Yes, YES and YES!! This photo screams love and happiness!! It's perfect, Liz!
that should have read, your heart is as wide open as HERS...next time I'll preview. Wonderful picture!
This picture is life. This picture is truth. This picture is love.
I didn't see any of the things you listed, all I see is gorgeous you and your precious baby girl. This is such a gift to you both! Love!!
I have to agree with Siobhan. I did not see what you listed either.
Beautiful picture. You really make me think. Being the gatekeeper of the family stories around here plus my appearance beaten up by poor health means I am never in pictures. Which I've always been ok with. But now I wonder. Thanks for giving me food for thought. Michelle t.
LOVE your photo... it is perfect! <3
I think we don't always see our best selves, a commonality among women.
I see a beautiful moment between a mother and her daughter.
This photo truly captures the love you share.
Having just gone through years of photos to create a 70th birthday book for my mom, what you're saying is so close to my heart. All any of you will see is the love (and how young, vital, alive and gorgeous you are!)
I'm also trying to get back into photos with my "big camera!" I never regret it!
Thank you. I really, really mean this...thank you.
