soak it all up baby girl
my heart is full today...full of friendship and goodness. full of what is real. i soak this up knowing that each day does not always unfold quite this way. i soak it up and tuck it into an inner pocket so that i can twirl inside it on the days that unfold into something else. i soak it up so i can remind myself on another day that i am simply not alone on this journey.
we must allow ourselves to soak up the goodness and the friendship and what is real.
we are simply not alone.
(thank you)
dear ones, your whispers of hope have made me smile widely.

the best part of it all sweet friend. xo
I read this over the weekend and it reminded me of so many good things. I had such an amazing epiphany about the good things while bleaching the grout between my tiles (of all times!) Your post was encouraging. I hope you had a fabulous weekend.
dear liz ... your words, the kindness that you show to yourself and others, is ever beautiful.
sending you peace & love,
deb

i am brimming over with that:)
and your beautiful heart:)
I love the title of this post.
Equally, having the knowledge that "each day does not always unfold quite this way" is both humbling and refreshing. As always, I am moved...
Nature gave me a gift of hope yesterday with the sight of blooming crocusses on a south facing natural hillside where my daughter and I were walking home from her school. Other hardy souls were sprouting in our yard; rhubarb, hosta, chives, lillies, hollyhocks and purple coneflower. Moved me to tears, as the snow was still falling. Cochrane, Alberta, Canada
I am reaching in my pocket now. xoxo
