my five things...
1. the mister at ikea, buying a new computer table.
2. the plan to have nachos and frozen margaritas tonight here at home.
3. the health fair i'm working tomorrow. (i'm trying to convince myself that i'm glad i'll be marketing myself tomorrow. really.)
4. a good talk this morning with m, about our future and becoming clear on what we see and want for ourselves.

1. My 38th Birthday tomorrow (March 22nd). I am cogniscent that at 38 years of age, the son of my good friends in NYC lost his life in the WTC. He will forever be 38. That makes the breath in my lungs and the beating of my heart all the more special.
2. Taking my puppy (who turned 1 lat Sunday) to the dog park and watching him have doggie fun.
3. The weather being nice enough that I had the windows open in the house all day.
4. AF is only 10 sleeps away!
5. a clean studio.
Have fun tonight - I'll miss being there and seeing you. I also hear from Judy that there's some progress on happenings for the retreat. Whooppie! Way to go.

1. Friends who I get to work with, and make me laugh.
2. My life partner.. everyday he teaches me how to be in a relationship
3. I have been thru the fire...I not only survived...I have thrived.
4. Realizing no one can cause me emotional pain...I create that myself....And I catch myself in time....
5. My children (who are adults) Love me...but most importantly they taught me...how to love...and accept love...for just being me.

1. The fact that it's officially now Spring.
2. The friendship and support I receive from my dear friend Julia...w/out it, no clue how I would survive.
3. I'm healing more and more after ankle surgery, every day is a little better then the one before.
4. My cat Mischa...always sitting by my side.
5. I have to agree with Kristen under comment one... dark chocolate. 'Nuf said.

1. snuggling with my hubby in the late morning while some really soft warm light was coming through our window.
2. the empty house and me writing in my studio with romantic jazz blasting in the living room upstairs.
3. hot bath at the Kabuki springs with a girlfriend.

5. a blend of chai that includes orange peel.

~ I just woke up and am having my coffee... and I feel like it will be a great day.
~ Taking time to tend to myself, my family, my house - much needed time - fills my soul with happiness.
~ Coming to the realization that if the state of the economy affects my family the way that I'm scared it will - that I am ok with whatever comes our way - as long as we are healthy and together. That thought alone calms my fears.
~ My daugther made a clay pot at school that sits in my china cabinet wher I plan to keep it forever.
~ Pizza, soda, and cake. (What my diet consisted of on this birthday party weekend).

3. I finally got enough sleep...it has been so hectic here that I have been crawling on three hours a night. Today I slept until I woke. That is a nice feelng.

1. today is the final day of school spring break and everyone will be going back to routines tomorrow (breaks are good, but routines work better!)
2. I'm sticking to my plan for lent and have had no wine in over 4 weeks
3. I have no committments today and can do as I please.
4. discovering new to me blogs with beautiful photography and simply enjoying that beauty
5. sunshine, a few clouds and that blue of a spring sky

1. My son has agreed to move to a different school next year, one that my husband and I think will help him blossom. Now if the state budget and an opening come through.... (If it's meant to happen, it will happen.)

3. Going to a carousel party -- maybe I'll catch a ring as I ride a pony, or the tiger.
4. All the little green shoots starting to emerge from the leaves and the mud.

1) Each of my children hugged and kissed me before I left this morning -- this is a rare that they are both awake that early on the weekend.
2) I got to spend the day being creative with friends -- AND I got paid for it:)
3) I got to visit with the most AWESOME cousin in the whole world who is having a baby:) Yummy goodness!!
4) I came home to find hubby had dinner done!!!! and a cup of tea waiting for me
5) My pick for the NCAA champion is still in the running while my hubby sadly picked the Huskies.....(sad for him!!)
