ten (things that have crossed my mind today)

berries

1) my current style icon is luna lovegood (ala harry potter and the order of the phoenix, which is a movie i have seen a lot, and i mean many times).

2) i cannot believe i am headed into the heart of a humid summer (via indiana and michigan) later this week (i hate humidity).

3) it's been a year since i did this, so i am think i am gonna do it again while sitting outside in the sun on the shore of lake michigan.

4) things seem so quiet lately. is anyone out there?

5) although it sometimes feels like summer is passing by so quickly, i am really looking forward to fall and all that it brings (like cooler weather and incredible events).

6) sometimes my high school friends are frozen as their 18-year-old selves...that is until i see a current photo of them on facebook. hello 32 year old. love it.

7) and on the subject of facebook, i still am not sure how i feel about the superpoking. what is a superpoke? and why do you want to do it to me?

8) i am going to use some of the gorgeous vintage buttons given to me by gram (jon's grandmother) to embellish a thrifted cardigan ala this adorable girl. i think that might be my crafting activity on the plane later this week...

9) i was going to make myself a new camera strap, but after spending way to much time searching for hardware (aka the end pieces) and finding nothing and oh how i mean nothing, i realized it would be so much easier to just support another etsy shop and buy one. but which one? i just can't choose...

10) raspberries make me so darn happy.

i am here
and i love raspberries, too...
i have seen the camera straps,
gorgeous!
too bad you can't find the pieces
you need...
:(

i wonder sometimes
if i am the only geeky one,
still on the computer
in summer weather...
heeheehee...

lovely. those rasberries look delicious. i went out to meet some friends this evening in a woolly jumper and a fleece vest. sydney winters are not chilly like other places in the world but it's still not rasberry weather! thank you for the dose of warmth.

I wake up very early. I am amazed at the thoughts that float through my head as I wait for the coffee to brew.
Why does my book club only talk about other people during social time when there are so many other topics of interest?
Where will I be living when death comes?
Does it really matter if I have a will or not?
Does Duke (faithful dog) know how much we love him?
Hum. Interesting.
I vote you get several camera straps and create a new fashion statement!
FaceBook - haven't even ventured there. You are "cutting edge" :)

It does seem very quiet right now, but I'm here too.

I hope you'll post a picture of the cardigan when you're done - it sounds very pretty.

I am here! I too will be in Michigan starting the 30th...are you doing a craft show or just visiting? I'll be out east but would love to come west for an art show ;)

Oh my, no wonder you can't decide on one of those gorgeous camera straps! I'll have one of each, please. ;)

Yep, the computer world seems to be extra quiet right about now -- you're not imagining things.

We're headed to Michigan, too -- July 26 thru Aug. 6, to visit my husband's family in the U.P. We're planning to do some tourist-y stuff that we've never done in the 20+ years I've known him (!), so there'll be some adventures.

Lake Michigan?! Yay, you'll be in my part of the country. The humid just broke for a few days, so it should be beautiful for your visit. Aren't the raspberries delicious now?! Enjoy your trip.

It has seemed a bit quiet, and I like to think it is because everyone is just too busy having fun this summer! I hope yours is totally fabulous...love what you are creating (as always!)
