breathe in, breathe out

IMG_5967

feeling a bit exhausted. reminding myself to breathe in and out.
life is good.
but wishing i was about to spend a few days at the beach.

today, i really spent some time thinking about how i am so blessed to have jon in my life. he keeps the sky from falling even when i try to convince myself the role of chicken little is to be played by me.

portland was good. i love that town. jon and i are finally finding our way around it, even if we do go in circles, or squares rather, because of all those one-way streets. had fun meeting folks at crafty wonderland and really enjoyed seeing my cousin and my brother. also got to meet susan, and i can't wait to hopefully have coffee with her the next time i am in town. i also bought a kendra binney print. i love that girl's art.

hope things are bright where you are...i would love it if you would share something wonderful that has happened in your world lately.

oh and i am slowly uploading some new totes and flags to my little shop this week, and i hope you will stop by and take a peek.

Wow... did you take that photo of the beach? So so so so so beautiful! Took my breath away!

I love the beach and can't wait to go back... hopefully soon!

I also love Kendra Binney's work although I don't have any of her pieces yet. (Notice I said YET!)

Something good that has happened to me... I enjoyed an unusual crisp morning yesterday. August is usually sweltering here but yesterday morning actually felt like fall, my favorite time of year. Hooray!

xo,

Karen Beth :)
(P.S. This is my Etsy store's blog. Sorry for the confusion!)

Liz, I've been thinking of you. We have so much catching up to do! Things have been crazy and they're probably about to get crazier with school starting soon...but then they will maybe be a little less crazy when the boys are at school & Jack is napping! So hopefully we can chat soon. :)

Something good that happened in my world...we are getting our screened-in porch rebuilt this week and I can't wait! It will be the exact same (because I love how old-fashioned it was), only brand new! :)

Love,
Bridget

Something wonderful from this week: On Tuesday I got to ride a Merry-Go-Round with my Mom. It was sooooo much fun! We were the only two people on the whole carousel and we were smiling from ear to ear and giggling like little girls :-)
