A made a few more little things over the weekend for the shop...smaller prayer flag sets that are from the "story" series.
My hope is that someone out there reads the words on these flag sets and says, "Yes...that is my story."
Because really, for me, connections like that are why I wanted to begin to share my creations in the first place. To be on the other side of the connection I have felt so often with artists, writers, and others...

I can't wait to see the shop! I LOVE the colors on this flag and the top one in your previous post. The music notes part on this one is my favorite - that is definitely something I identify with. They are all just BEAUTIFUL, Liz! :)

I'm so nervous about tomorrow... You see, I'm going out of town tomorrow morning but I so want to be around for your grand opening too so that I can see (and hopefully buy) some of your flags! The ones that you have pictured do speak to me so I can only imagine that the others will too. I just can't wait to see them! I'm so excited and I know you are too. Beautiful work. It will be so wonderfully received!

YAY!! I can't wait! oh, and i love those words..."she dreams of a place...all her own...where she can share...her stories." i think these words speak for so many women. my heart gets an excited hopeful feeling just reading them. i wish you much luck and success with your etsy shop!
