{SPT} tea time, art, and ice cream
Another week of boiling water, brewing tea, pausing, taking a polaroid, and drinking tea as the picture develops.
I am amazed that I have all these pictures of me now - with no make-up on. It is liberating in a sense. Even though I do look so tired illuminated only by the bright flash...
Maybe I will keep doing this every day. Pausing. Reflecting. Letting go.
And my favorite tea from this experience is a new green tea with brown rice. I love earthy green teas. Mmmm.

I really loved this series.
Great pics!! I'm drinking tea right now:)
i want a polaroid!!!
I'm impressed that you've been able to keep this project up for so long. and i agree with la vie en rose--i want a polaroid too! :) It has been fun being able to see these photos. You are beautiful everyday! btw, my favorite "earthy" flavored tea is Haiku Barley. I like the name because I imagine that it can actually help one to write poems...but the tea is YUM delicious--just barley, straight up.
polaroids are so much fun, especially when I cannot tame my canon digital camera. so polaroids i find so refreshing! do you do this every tuesday. i guess i better peek back and check.
Always fun just to watch something develop...the image emerge. Glad that it seems to be changing your self-perception.
I LOVE POLAROIDS!
I haven't had a Polaroid since I was a kid and my father bought one for family pictures. I still have some of those photos, but most of them are cracked and faded now.
i love the flower in your hair in the one photo. I am huge fan of genmaicha as well, yummy!
you look SO cute here!! You have a lovely smile and I love the one where you look like you are so sleepy! Great pictures! I hope you DO keep it up!!
I loved your project and I think you should keep pausing, reflecting, and letting go regardless of whether you document the moment on polaroid film. Congratulations on your month on tea time with photos!
I love these tea pics...indeed liberating, and your beauty so natural! You are inspiring me to dig out my old polaroid, get some film, and capture my own moments of reflection.
I will try to send you a quick email tonight before you leave for ArtFest.
Lots of love,
TD
Liz,
You are leaving today!
I can't wait to hear all about ArtFest.
I also can't believe you found time for SPT.
Good for you.
I love the composition!
hello...this is the first time i've been here, and i've just got to say: this is a kickass series. i'm a huge fan of "every moment, not just birthdays, is photographic and worth capturing".
(i got here through lynn's recommendation, i'd love to sign up for poetry thursdays...i'll be back, for sure.)
