lighter with a side of shallow

Tonight, my husband and I enjoyed an early Christmas gift.
An electronic upgrade from an elf in Indiana (my father).
Our 19 inch tv has morphed into a new sony wega 32 inch.
Wow.
I knew about it a few days ago, but J. had no idea until he came home this afternoon.
His face was priceless.
Do we need a tv this big? No.
But the joy of being down the hall and hearing him exclaim "I am one with the bacteria" as he watched the science channel was pretty great...
(and now I don't have to get my glasses to read the ticker on CNN)

The Science Channel is one of the few reasons I would consider owning a television. And, I LOVE your husband's sense of humor, Liz! He sounds like my sweet husband, who is the punmaster around here. May you always enjoy seeing the TV screen w/o glasses.

Yes. I would say he loves the science channel - the only reason we have digital cable is because of the science channel (and others like it). On weekends, you will find him watching discovery, a&e, the science channel, and shows on how things work (physics in action) instead of football and other sports. Pretty great...at least to me.

Hurray!
I love big TV's ~ what a great present. Of course I love science and hadn't a clue that there is actually a science channel. Probably because our suck-ass cable company doesn't have it.
