let it out

To be brave, speak my truth.
To breathe, think deeply, then speak.
To trust. Me.
To be open to new ideas, friends, possibilities.
To be grateful for what I already know and the lessons I continue to learn. (over and over and over again)
To own what I want to do: write more, create more.
To let go of the fear of failure.
To let it out. The joy, the laughter, the sadness, the silliness, the beauty, the colors, the words.
Let it out.

inside out

if i keep stuffing what needs to escape,
it'll just circle my mind until gaining enough
momentum to blurt its case in public,
shoving my insides out, while my
outsides are aching to climb in.

Oh I love both your words and the words of susan mrosek, definitely going to check her website out.

It's very hard to be yourself, trust yourself and know that sometimes, you will fail. But by doing so and flowing with the defeats and soaring with the triumphs, we find that we live our lives more peacefully because it's our truth.

I was just thinking about this very thing early this morning! Do you know the song "Let Go" By FrouFrou? It reminds me of this. It's important to just let it out, to release inhabitions and be who you are. "To trust. Me." I love that line. This is a really beautiful mantra for how to live life to it's wonderful potential.

Oh and Frankie - I love that song - from the Garden State soundtrack! I have put it on my computer so I can listen to it while I edit in my office at home. Thank you for the reminder...
